Church Des Artistes is a converted nineteenth century Romanesque church in the heart of a historic neighborhood in Kingston NY. Artist Julie Hedrick and Composer Peter Wetzler have welcomed visiting composers, writers and artists for decades, in 2010 they became Church Des Artistes hosting guests from around the world. Walk to local parks along the Rondout and Hudson River, Kingston's Greenline Rail Trail, The Empire State Trail and Sojourner Truth Park. Stroll to nearby restaurants, marinas, art galleries, antiques & boutiques plus an outdoor Sunday farmers market along the Rondout river. Sailing , swimming and kayaking are also nearby. Kingston's historic Stockade district dating back to the 1600's is only a 5 minute drive away. |
